I’ve had this logo idea in my head. If you don’t know me, the symbol of the dragonfly meant so much, that I put it permanently on my body. In the beginning, I thought I would just render the image of the tattoo onto the computer and be done. I ended up spending 4 hours creating that image just to see it was not meant for the screen. I spent a while perusing the internet for images, checking the logo websites, and found a few I liked but didn’t quite love. I finally gave up and thought, why don’t I just make it myself? My husband downloaded a very fancy graphic design program but the learning curve was too big. My stubborn self pulled up my old friend, Microsoft Paint, and designed this little gem. Simple and made from my own hand, just the way I like it.
Doing these things myself means there are going to be a lot of mistakes and re-do’s with sleepless nights wondering if what I’m doing (and sharing with you) will even matter. In the end, I’m not sure if the failure of the business would be the worst part. I believe not making that leap of faith to do what your heart is telling you, will be the only ‘failure’ in this short life.
